Hunting Licenses and Tags Purchasing Policies

Outfitter Allocation Tags for Elk and Mule Deer

Bigfoot Outfiters will complete all the necessary paperwork and purchase the hunting license and tag for Outfitter Allocation Tags. Clients using Outfitter Allocated tags for mule deer and elk in IDFG Unit 18 will be sent a Hunting Agreement, Personal Information Worksheet, and Outfitted Controlled Hunt Services Contract. This paperwork needs to be completed and returned in the self addressed envelope enclosed in package. Hunting Licenses and Tags are not included in the price of hunt. The cost of the license, tag and issuing fees will be added to your hunting invoice.

Non Resident Outfitter Allocation Tag/License Fees

Non Resident Hunting License $141.50

Allocation Tag Application and Issue Fee $13.75

Archery Elk, Whitetail, Bear and Cougar Tags

Hunting Licenses and Tags are not included in the price of hunt. The above species tags are sold over the counter on a first come first serve basis. Hunters should purchase the appropriate tags and licenses before coming to camp. License and tags are available at the Riggins One Stop Convience Store and Liquor Store in Riggins, ID or over the internet at http://www.fishandgame.idaho.gov.

Hunt and Needed Tags

All clients need to purchase a non resident hunting license. Cost is $141.50.

Hells Canyon Outfitters will purchase your hunting license and tags for you upon request. Clients interested in this service will need to fill out a personal information work sheet and a check to Idaho Fish and Game for the amount of tags and licenses to be purchased. Information worksheet and fees must be received 30 days before the hunt.

Mountain Goat Tag

Controlled hunt application period is April 1 through April 30 of each year. Hells Canyon Outfitters will complete all of the necessary paperwork for tag application. Controlled hunt tag and permit application fees will be refunded to the unsuccessful or ineligible applicants for mountain goat. Hunting license fee of $141.50 and application fee of $6.50 is non refundable. Drawing results will be posted on the IDFG website in early June.
