Bugle Archery Elk Hunts
Archery camps are traditional wall tent camps accessed by saddle stock. Hunts are conduced out of base camp by foot and saddle stock. Camp amenities and services are the same as for our rifle camp. |

These hunts are conducted in IDFG Big Game Unit 22. This game unit is located further to the south in Hells Canyon. The terrain is similar to our rifle area and it supports a large herd of elk with many mature bulls. September bugle hunts offer close encounters with very vocal rutting elk. The area is strictly hunted by Bigfoot Outfitters as an archery only area so as not to compromise the high quality of rutting action. Although tags may be bought over the counter there is only limited space available for these exciting hunts. We practice not over harvesting or hunting these herds to protect a quality archery hunting experience for every hunter.
